Terms & Conditions and Code of Conduct · GeTH Hackathon 2027

These terms apply to everyone taking part in GeTH Hackathon 2027: participants, mentors and organisers. They apply from acceptance of your application until the project closes. By accepting a place, you agree to them.

1. Confidentiality and disclosure​

  1. Sharing any non-public information from this event is strictly prohibited. This includes data, analyses, results, discussions and materials provided by the organisers.
  2. Do not publish any data or analytical findings resulting from this event in academic journals, preprints or conference proceedings without prior written permission from the Health Systems Research Institute (HSRI).
  3. Do not distribute or disclose any data or analytical findings externally through any channel without prior written permission from HSRI. Channels include social media, blogs, presentations, code repositories, email and messaging apps.

2. Data access and security​

  1. Before you receive access, you must sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and a data-use agreement (DUA).
  2. All analysis takes place inside NSTDA's Trusted Research Environment (TRE). Downloading, copying, photographing or taking screenshots of individual-level data is not permitted.
  3. Only aggregate, non-identifiable results may leave the TRE, and only after airlock review and approval.
  4. Do not attempt to re-identify any individual, or to link the data with other sources in order to do so.
  5. Access is personal, time-limited and logged. Do not share your credentials. Access is revoked when the project closes.
  6. All use must comply with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and the conditions of the project's ethics approval.

3. Code of conduct​

  1. Treat everyone with respect. Harassment, discrimination or intimidation of any kind will not be tolerated.
  2. Collaborate openly within your team and credit the contributions of others.
  3. Follow the venue's rules and the organisers' instructions.
  4. Report any concern or breach to the organisers promptly. Reports are handled confidentially.

4. Breaches​

The organisers may revoke TRE access or remove a participant who breaches these terms. They may also inform HSRI and the participant's home institution. Obligations under the NDA, the DUA and the PDPA continue after the event.

5. Changes and contact​

The organisers may update these terms before the event, and participants will be notified of changes. Questions: contact to be announced.
